Moreover, another advantage with these social network platforms in the mass posting, from a single point, you can transmit a post to the popular social hubs simultaneously (Zarrella, 2010). This means you do not have to visit each site one-by-one to share your new posts or images hence useful. Lastly on the advantages is cost efficiency. One of the key driver of the company to use social media for marketing is the affordable price. Engaging prospective customers have no expenses other than time, and most of the profiles on these sites are free.
Among the disadvantages of social media is that social media marketing generates negative user. The platform attracts all sorts of people even the wicked and harmful ones. Among this, malicious people include scammer, trolls, spammers and all other sorts of evil people destroy the restaurant's reputation online (Taşkıran & Yilmaz, 2015). The other demerit of social marketing is the aspect of time. Social media marketing is time-consuming; for instance, one can spend 11 hours on social marketing and spend at least 6 hours in SMM.
