Grimm: Season 3
During the 3rd season, the series is staged in such a way the Nick appears to be dead. This happens at the beginning of the series. There have been many comments in relation to the fugue state of Nick. Part of the audience enjoyed this part while the rest are not happy with it claiming that the movie will be boring and a cliché if this continues throughout the movie.
One interested fun is seen to describe the reason behind this claiming that it is as a result of Nick’s Super hearing. To him this is like a super power that Nick is possessing and not a liability. He is seen commenting that he could use it to his advantage by pretending to be dead in times of trouble and appearing back to normal when the trouble subsides. To this viewer, he is excited that he may have other super abilities that will be shown to us when the series continues.
Another viewer blames this to the fact that Nick is not cured completely, and he goes to this fugue state when the pace of his heart slows down with time. These results to his stop pumping body to his heart hence appear dead. Even this viewer states that Grimm’s have the ability to do a specific thing to their own advantage. So this viewer also, he is excited of the part unlike the blog owner who is completely angered by this part.
Monroe is an interesting character in the show, which plays the sidekick role to the Grimm. In this specific blog, it can be seen that Monroe has appeared to be more co0medic in the 3rd episode. Considering the series is a Drama and Action themed, Monroe brings the comedy part of it through his humor in words and actions. This makes nearly the best character in the movie considering his special role that he plays. Also, he can be seen to have a vegan side which is scarier and angrier while in action. This combined with his humble self-results in a great character, in the 3rd episode. It can be seen that the viewers are saying that Monroe is always on the know-how of what is happening hence intrigues the viewers with his actions.
Hank in the movie is a police officer and a Partner to nick in the station. One of the viewers is seen commenting that his character is a journey through the series. He is seen to advance slowly and at episode 3, his character is at its fullest. Considering what has happened to him in the previous episodes, he is well adjusted this season. The viewer goes on to say he would like to see an episode that he is the viewpoint so as to establish his true traits and give him a background, as well. Considering he is not Wesen like other characters, he has done incredibly well to maintain his position in the series.
Another viewer is seen to be incredibly fascinated with Hunks Trait in the series and advocated for more Hank episode as well as Nick episodes. This way, he would be in a better position to rate hank as opposed to when the Hank episodes are minimal. She also seem to be fascinated by the fact that Rosalie want to hook Hank up with a nice Fuchsbau girl as this will make the series even more interesting.
Adalind is considered to be a character that is mischievous and cunning all through the series. In the 3rd season, she is coming out stronger having used her brains to rob of her mother her powers and also bearing the baby of a prince. With these, the viewer’s hate her guts but she is seen to be congratulated by many for keeping the show lively.
With audience analysis, it can be seen that most of the characters have satisfied the viewers. In season 3, the writer is seen to introduce the part where Nick appears to be dead. This being a new power of the Grimm, it was expected to receive different reactions and as it can be seen, most of the reactions were positive. Other characters such as Monroe and Hank can be seen to be doing much better than expected. With audience analysis, it can be found out that more of Nick episodes should be added as most of the viewer’s are3 demanding it.
In the series, it can be seen that there are many signs that have been used to make the audience understand what is happening better. In this third episode, use of signs has increased as it can be seen that more Vegans can be seen. The use of semiotic study’s will the audience to understand what is happening much better. In the third season, we are frequently taken to Nick’s van where there ancient documents and tools which are helping him with his Grimm duties. This means that the audience needs to understand the different signs in order to keep up with the series
The Big Bang Theory: Season 6
In this series, it can be noted that there almost 10 characters who make the series as interesting as it is. As all the characters display a humorous side, analysis of the characters mostly is based on who is more humorous than the other or who is boring.
In the BlogSpot, a blogger is seen t attributing Sheldon as the key character in the series. To him, Sheldon is the reason he watches the show due to his sense of humor that makes him laugh his brains off. He is also seen to admit that though Sheldon is supper humorous, each character also has been given his or her chance to shine in the show.
With the above blogger defending Sheldon greatly, another blogger is seen to complain to the fact that Sheldon is getting boring as he is in a relationship. He is seen to state that the show was meant to show the lives of ‘nerds’ and ‘geeks’ as in the first five episodes. To him, this is what made the show interesting and humorous. In this episode, Sheldon is seen to be in a relation which makes it boring. Sheldon in the earlier episodes knew nothing about women and relationship. The change in character of Sheldon has made the show took a downfall making it lose viewers.
Another blogger is seen to air out his opinion on the season. To him, the onset of season 6 resulted in the changing of the theme of the series from focusing on the ‘geekyness’ of the characters. He is seen to say that, in the first five episodes, the show focused on their ‘geekyness’ which made it more humorous, but later on season 6, the characters have been changed because they are more focused on relationships.
Another blogger is seen complaining that the writer does not know what to do with Raj. To her, Raj has been left out of the group completely and does not fit in the group with his character being given little air play. The writers are not coming up with a good story as before which favored Raj and all the characters all together. To him, Raj has loosed a place in the series and should be removed if nothing can be done about it.
The same blogger above is also seen to comment on the characters of Leonard and Penny. Since they have been in a relation, their characters have lost meaning and the humor is fading away. In fact, he is seen to specify that the two characters have become ‘weirder’. He is suggesting that they should be split as they are best being individuals as compared to be being couples.
In order to find the show as intriguing as it is, it is a must for the audience to understand the used symbols of speech used. This means that in one or another, the audience and the critics to apply semiotic analysis. With the use of this technique, the first blogger in my case found the show to be extra ordinarily funny. He is seen to state that Sheldon to be specific is the most humorous of them all. This is also applied by the rest of the bloggers as they analyze different traits the characters portray. With this, it can be realized that there has been dramatic change in the show as the viewers can be seen to be all complaining.
