Final Project
Kurt Wenner has for as long time been my favorite artist and model figure as far as my study and career in artist is concerned. He is known globally for his unmistakable skills in painting and has made two inventions in the artistic field. He has a master in arts and architectural designing and has specialized as both sculptor, ceramic and muralist artist. In addition to his architectural work Wenner also develop seminars, educational programs, workshops and corporate services. His architectural work was inspired by anamorphism, which is a technic that creates an illusion of height using frescoed ceilings.
Wenner’s has a unique wide scope of work ranging from residential architecture and Villas, lavish interior designer, original painting and decorations on the interior designs as well as classical product designing, fine art, illusions, interactive pavement art, interactive sidewalk art, master piece in chalk moralistic and drawings (Mish, 43). He has diversified so much in the field of arts and architecture and is still relevant across all fields. He does all the work with absolute excellence.
His paintings are rich in color mixed in a naturalistic way that amazes anybody who sets their eyes on the work. I also do love colors and when the colors are well mixed then it brings reality of thing. The paintings of; people, the environment, animals, streets, shops to mention but a few. He was able to come to the lime light just two years after venturing to this career. This took a lot of effort and flexibility. His work is reliable which make him to be on market and demand at all times not just in his country but in many other countries. This character of Wenner being able to satisfy the demands of his clients is what challenges me most. This is especially because has worked with so many people with so many preferences but always he never disappoints them (Bolte & Pamela, 32).
One of his most famous inventions include the three dimensional street the 3D pavement art which uses unique geometry. The 3D street painting can also be referred to ass anamorphic or illusionistic painting. Kurt wenner started his painting career in Rome as early as in 1982 (Mish, 43). Since then Wenner has travelled the world courtesy of this talent and career, creating pavement Art in more than thirty countries.
I am attracted to Wenner for various reasons and I am determined to emulate him and hold on to his legacy so that the architectural work will flourish forever. The work of Wenner is always original and unique. His work as a street artist is always excellent. One of his famous works, which came to be known as ASPHALT REINAISSANCE, recounts the creation of 3D pavement art through innovative artist and internet sensation. Wenner made a statement regarding street painting and one of his quotes on street painting is as follows ‘ Making a street painting is a lot like constructing a sand castle: while working on one part, another part is erodedStreet painting is a constant reminder that art is about a process rather than a product’. This statement bears a lot of reality about artistic works, there is never a time to relax and say all is done because the process never end (Bolte & Pamela, 32). Every time I think of my career as an artist I always reflect on Wenner’s statement and with that I push on harder.
Other than being and invent Wenner has a way of making sure he is not the only one benefiting from the Knowledge and talent that he has. Most of the time when not engaging in his artistic works he usually engaged in teaching upcoming artist. He has several educational programs which he runs across Rome and sometimes he holds workshops, seminars and corporate services where he is able to educate other artists. This quality shows just how much selfless Wenner is. Iron sharpens iron it has long been said and hence a perfect artist like Wenner is bound to sharpen other artists. This way artists will always be there, the architectural designers’ will never lack a place in the rapidly changing globe. This is something that I have emulated from Weinner and have already started doing the same. Every time I get some additional knowledge I am always curious to share it with the next person so we can all benefit and develop together.
Wenner has left a legacy in the art and architectural field. There are several books that he has written which will forever be relevant in the years to come. He has also produced videos in his work. If I will manage to invent something new, I am optimistic about this I will put in down on books where it can be securely stored for generations.
Kurt Wenner is a star as far as Arts and architecture is concerned. His contributions in the fields are both practical and theoretical. He can always demonstrate the work that he has written I books or has taught his students. Wenner’s work is flawless, almost perfect and that is a trait that each painter should emulate any small mistake in architect and arts can change or spoil the whole work. He has highly diversified in the field which clearly portrays his determination to always try new things, a character that has personally influenced my curiosity. Artists ought to put a lot of concentration on their work and not to tire or relax on the way as art is a process not a project.
