Executive Summary
The business proposal has been developed for IIS by SecurITech Solutions as a response towards the redesigning of the network to make innovative and futuristic IT solutions for the organisation. The business proposal will outline the solution, which is cost effective, technically sound and at the same time beneficiary for the organisation. SecurITech looks to build up a solution for IIS that is functional, extensible, secure and future-proof. The proposal will also consist of the scheduling plans along with the costs and the expected timelines, thus providing IIS with the general idea of what they can expect from us during the period of implementation of the proposed solution. The research proposal will also discuss the various aspects that are involved with the project viz. communicational methods, configurations, risks involved in the project and the implementation of the solution. The proposal also consists of various graphics for providing a better understanding of the solution that is being provided by SecurITech. If IIS approves of the solution that is being provided by SecurITech, the implementation procedure shall begin within a short span of time. Pertinent to mention here is the fact that the implementation process shall start only after the completion of the planning phase for the project.

Our Planning Process
The planning process for SecurITech starts with the assessment of the requirements of the client. A proper understanding of the needs and the requirements of IIS shall enable us in providing the best possible solution for the business. After the completion of the assessment, SecurITech endeavours to look for the best vendor in the market, who shall provide us with the up to date technological advancements in the IT sector. After the completion of the procurement phase, the installation period is initiated by SecurITech. For a project of such a nature, it is essential on our part to keep a time period that incorporates the occurrence of any type of unforeseen events. It is mandatory on our part that the new network, which shall be designed and implemented, is functioning effectively and perfectly before its deployment in the IIS facility (Offermann, Blom, Levina & Bub, 2010). Our reputation of attending to details and potential risks in a project makes us one of the top business solution providers on the global scale. In this way, IIS can entrust its new network design to SecurITech for the best possible solution.

What we know about your company
Before we research a solution and propose the same to IIS, we have assessed the needs and the objectives of IIS along with the restrictions. SecurITech has also completed an assessment of the unique nature of business of IIS for understanding and determining the solution that benefits the organisation the most. It is known to us that IIS was formed in the year of 1996. The organisation was set up as a public corporation. IIS has its headquarters in Dallas, Texas. IIS is known for researching and developing imagery software and hardware for satellites. IIS is also globally known for the creation an integrated intelligent global positioning system (GPS), by the utilisation of the satellite information systems along with imaging algorithms, which are complex in nature. IIS is the pioneer of the satellite imagery and GPS system in the world. Over the years, IIS has grown to be a multinational corporation with offices set up all over the United States of America, Europe and China. IIS is known for providing the government as well as other commercial customers with high-grade quality products.
With the continuous growth and expansion of IIS, there is a need for a new network infrastructure for the organisation. The new network infrastructure shall be helping IIS in achieving a higher rate of success and growth over the coming years. IIS is already a global leader in a field of technology, yet there is a need for the organisation to update their network system to the modern technological advancements in the IT sector, thus making sure that the features and capabilities of the organisation are provided with proper support from the network.IIS is a recipient of many government projects, thus suggesting that the solution that is being devised by SecurITech needs to implement the highest level of network security protocols. The new network for the IIS facility also needs to be flexible in nature, thus providing ample support to its employees in different branches. The flexible nature of the network shall also ensure that employees of IIS are connected, regardless of the geographical position of where they are working.
During the pre-proposal meetings, IIS has pointed out their need for a communication system that is unified in nature. They have also asked for an email system which is secure and structured in nature. IIS has also asked for a secure cloud storage option for the storage of the various types of sensitive data that are accumulated and collected by IIS. The solution that is being devised by SecurITech shall be combining the communication system into a single network while prioritising the security of the network. The total infrastructure of the new network shall be built from the scratch and also upgraded as and when required. The new network shall have the capability of upgrading to any future developments in the networks hardware or software systems.
SecureITech after its assessment of IIS has also come upon some restraints, which are to be considered during the implementation phase of the proposed network configuration. The budget for the new network configuration has been set to $2 million by IIS. The major part of the new network shall be built in the IIS headquarter facility. The IIS facility is a three-storied 150,000 square foot building, which is built on an incline. With the experience of the employees of SecurITech, we shall endeavour to build a network configuration that best suits the needs of IIS.
