In the history during the Paleolithic era, the arrow and the bow were invented for many reasons. The primary reasons were to hunt and for protection. The arrowhead was made of strong stones, which would pierce into the animal’s body without an easy break. The arrowheads were discovered 10000 years ago from the ancient art. In the Europe, the north of Hamburg, Germany they were considered as an artifact. However, later on, they were utilized in sports, fights and hunting. The invention of arrowhead and bows in Europe led to many inventions and discoveries all over the world. From stones age era, Mesopotamia discovered metal (bronze) for agriculture and making of sophisticated weapons during the ancient period.
Making of arrow depended on the available material and it its location in a given area. In Asian, China, mulberry wood, and vine were best fitted to make arrows. China and Japan are known for its martial fighting tactics there for it invented an arrow from mulberry wood from a hunter who was chased by a leopard. He scared the animal and made his escape using the vine arrow he made.
Arrowheads and bows are used all over the world for many purposes, and they are obtained from different materials. Secondly, depending on the material they are made from, they have different uses. Guns and other fighting weapons have developed from it. This invention has both negative and positive impacts in the world. People from the ancient times have used arrow arms to protect themselves. However, there has been a lot of life loss, which has led to the extinction of some of the creation. What I believe is that the discovery of the arrow was meant to save the life, but not to destroy it. The main issue is that their usage have changed over time depending on the societal needs.
