The best leader is the one who impact positively on the organization, society and community and the individuals follows the guidelines of that leader. In relation to the business world, Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple is the most influential leader today. Steve Jobs role in the organization was to present new ideas which can direct the operations of the organization and change the technological approach of the society and the community easily. The innovative and influencing business ideas of Steve Jobs make him the great leader in his organization. (Greaves, 2012)
One of the main qualities of the leader is that he is capable of creating inspirations and presents the innovative ideas. The product ideas of Steve Jobs were different from the traditional products which saved a lot of cost for the organization and reduce the prices of electronic products.
The greatest leader is capable of creating the change in the organizational structure and culture. Moreover, leader can manage the confrontation against the change and assist in adopting the change accordingly. Another quality of the great leader is that he directs or leads the organization and set examples. In the case of Steve Jobs, the majority of the ideas were presented by him and he worked on the projects to complete those business ideas instead of leaving the work on the lower staff. (Miller, 2015)
The great leader in the organization listens to the ideas of the lower management and appreciates the approach of the lower management because of their involvement in the daily operation. This approach increases the motivation level of the middle management and other workers. To find the right talent or the strong aspects of the workers is an important aspect of the leader. Steve Jobs always tried to find the talented individuals from the universities and colleges by identifying the different mental approach of the students. (Starks, 2015)
The leaders achieve the power or the certain level of power on the basis of their ability to direct the operations and the culture of the organization. The impact of leader from the stage of strategic planning to the actual operations identifies the power of the leader. If the planning of the leader is implemented accordingly, then the leader has sufficient power to influence and directs the employees. (Starks, 2015)
