First of all, it was interesting to know how old religions are. Also, the titles of holly text of each religion was a nice thing to get knowledge about. It is worth to notice that these main religions have a lot of common things. For example, Judaism, Islam and Christianity are monotheistic religions; Judaism and Christianity were founded approximately at the same time; Christianity and Islam have only one saint book; Sikhism and Hindusim have the biggest number of followers in the same country they were founded. The thing that impressed me the most is a fact that the biggest number of followers of Christianity is in the United States. This is valuable for me, because it is my country and somehow it made me proud. This activity helped me to refresh my knowledge about the most common religions and it is a useful information that really educated person needs to know. When you communicate with people from different cultures you need to know at least basic things about them and religion is an often topic in conversations. After completing this activity I had few questions left. It was found that Hinduism has unknown founder. This appeared to be a very exciting thing. How did it happen that nobody knows a founder of Hinduism? Why there was no note left about him/her? How many years in fact this religion exists? I mean, how great has to be a number of followers of this religion that it was saved till this day without knowing the founder? These questions may never be answered. But it is exactly a thing that makes this riddle exciting.
