Additionally, the client shows signs of pervasive dissatisfaction with her life. She panics at reaching 40 years and cannot tell what happened to her earlier years. However, the feeling of being valuable and family depending on her has always made her happy
Behavior assessment
The client’s behavior is normal. There is no sign of conflicting emotions and feeling of suicide. Ruth has recently completed college and has now sought professional help with her depression is good indication that she is willing to straighten up her life. She does not indicate whether she takes any medication.
Cognitive assessment
The client has no adverse cognitive related problems. In fact, she shows normal memory patterns. The case is evident by the fact that she has completed her college education. She has trouble while sleeping and shows a high level of anxiety. She also indicates that she cries easily even on simple matters.
Developmental issue
Ruth has had a college education since she assets that she recently completed college education graduating with an elementary education major. The step indicates that she has goals and development plans with her life. Additionally, her action of visiting a professional for help also suggests that she is up for personal and professional development despite the challenges she is facing.
Family history
The client is keen to note that she is married. She adds that she has two children at teenage age. She is the one that takes care of the children though she does not indicate whether the husband helps or not.

Ruth does not talk about her stand when it comes to the matter on the cultural, religious and spiritual point of view.
Physical challenges and strengths
The client says that she suffers from heart palpitations, experiences dizziness and headaches. She also has a weight problem.

The client is keen to indicate that she wants to grow old with a meaning in her life since the children who have been the meaning and purpose of her life will soon be grown-ups and move out.
