Every person has a worldview in life, and it may be described in different ways depending on the individual. A worldview can be defined as a set of beliefs an individual has about a major question in life such as if God exist, the way he looks, how can a person know God, is there life after death, and how to differentiate between right and wrong among others. There is the need to refer to the Holy books such as the Bible and Quran to get the answers to the inescapable life questions. The biblical worldview is composed of the Old Testament that acts as the starting point and the New Testament, which is the foundation. People wonder why various things in life happen the way they do, and this pushes them to try come up with proof on the order of scripture things such as God, sins, powers, and righteousness.
It is necessary to seek knowledge from the Bible in the book of Romans chapter one to eight to get a better understanding of the Worldview. In the chapters, there is a concentration on the life of Paul and his belief in God. Paul thinks that he can give thanks through Jesus Christ, though he has no evidence that God exist, only that he trusts in his existence. In the scripture, Paul has a firm belief that God and the biblical word exist because he preaches the gospel in Rome and argues that the power of God gives salvation to the people who believe in him, and it starts with the Jews and then the Gentiles. Believing that God brings salvation is an inescapable question because it is a theory that cannot be proven scientifically and the believers need to have real faith. Making people believe in something or someone they do not see like God is a challenging issue and can bring many doubts. Most of the individuals in the world who are not Christians or believers think that things in the world happen by chance, and it is hard to tell them that salvation is got from God, so this made life hard for Paul while preaching the gospel.
It is the nature of man to sin, but when this happens, people should seek forgiveness and go back to salvation. The Roman scripture by Paul brings more contradiction of the worldview because it brings about the existence of heaven. The existence of the heaven cannot be proven, but Christians are made to believe that it is real. For the Gentiles, who had not accepted the gospel, it was hard for them to believe that heaven was real, and this brought more confusion while Paul was spreading the word of God. During the time when the scripture was written, people had gone against the wish of God and were sinners. The gospel is seen as an enemy to the sinners because it proclaims the wrath of God on the sinful humanity. At the time the scripture was written, people were very sinful and were not happy that all the wicked and godlessness individuals who do not believe in truth will face Gods punishment. As per the people who were spreading the gospel such as Paul, the powers of God have existed and can be seen from the time of creation; hence, he was able to prove that God exist, and his powers too are real. With the conviction, some Gentiles were able to accept the word of God because Paul showed that God and his powers were real, and if they do not keep his ways, they will be punished and miss from heaven.
Human Relationships
During the time for the gospel, people had become very sinful such that they worshiped idols. In the usual setup, sexual relationships should be between a husband and a wife, but to prove the hard question of if God exist and the promise to punish the sinners, women had sexual relations with unnatural things while men become attracted to one another. The shameful acts served as a punishment so that people could realize that they had changed from the biblical worldview to the earthly one. In the Bible, it is stated that people should not judge others to avoid themselves being judged. In the Roman scripture, Gentiles and Jews had fallen from the ways of God and were passing unfair judgment on others. The worldview on the judgment of God is made clear since Paul encouraged people to be just to others and avoid being judgmental so that they will not be judged. The law is applicable in relationships, and it is clear that law has authority over a person as long they are alive. An example is that a husband has authority over the wife for all the time they are alive until death breaks the law.
Culture
Doing right is a worldview that most people who are Christian believers possess. In the Roman scripture, Jews are encouraged to walk their talk and lead by examples such that if they condemn stealing, then they should not steal from anybody. Jews believed being circumcised brought them to the ways of God and condemned the Gentiles because their culture did not support circumcision. The only thing that the Jews did not realize is that being circumcised did not mean anything as long they never obeyed the set laws. Individuals are encouraged to be righteous and follow the ways of God by the spirit and not just mere words and following rules.
Human Identity
It is natural for people to identify with a given nature of a thing. In Roman, Abraham identified himself with righteousness, and all is acts such as willing to sacrifice his son was a sign of believing in the word of God. When Abraham was commanded to sacrifice the son, there were chances of doubts, but he did obey God without having any prove that it was his request. It is necessary that all the descendants of Abraham identify with God and be righteous since he helped demonstrate that the scripture was real and proved the worldview of existence of God.
Conclusion
It is normal for people to have a worldview in life to show their beliefs in cultural interactions, human relations, and identity and know how to handle some of the life bothering questions about nature and God. To have a valid worldview, it is necessary to understand the scripture based on its occurrences and then try to drive a conclusion from it to know if the information they have is correct or wrong. People may have varying worldviews, and there should be no criticism that one view is right, but all that is needed is to follow the Scriptures since they act as the guides in the human life.
