Home Care verses Hospital Care Nursing
Health care services, irrespective of being in the hospital or at home, nursing ethics and legal principles are supposed to be achieved. Home care patients are supposed to transfer to hospital for advanced healthcare. In hospitals, a variety of facilities such as medical equipment and tools are available to have improved health care. Extensive health care by highly skilled physicians would be offered in the hospital compared while the patient is at home (Zhang, Michael, & Harish, 2015). While at the hospital, a regular check-up by a specialist would ensure gradual health improvement. This would be achieved through getting high-quality health care services, being in the favorable environment and encountering specialists.
In a prolonged healthcare needs, it would be essential for a patient getting healthcare at home. This would be subjected having a private nurse to undertake all the health check up and ensuring medications and treatment are carefully offered. At home care, the cost of health care services would be lower compared to a hospital.
