The first and most important step, from which any research begins, is the choice of the research subject. It is important to choose it very attentively. In this case, it is necessary to take into consideration the time that the student can devote to this research, its length, the audience on which it will be focused and the amount of resources needed in order to provide an appropriate research (Chambliss & Eglitis, 2016).
The subject is the most important part of the whole research. Further development and success of the final research largely depend on the correct choice of the subject. It is important to note that choosing it, the student must take into account his strength, knowledge and abilities. It is necessary to consider how long it will take to provide a research on this subject and the availability of literature on the subject. Only in this case, it is possible to successfully conduct and complete the research.
Today’s drug research includes a lot of factors. Taking into consideration the investigation of such medical drug as Avandia, it is possible to say that the emphasize bias that emphasizes this research is that the drug was quite dangerous. It has been proved, that it caused the increase of heart disease and attacks. Manufacturers of this drug, however, decided not to distribute the information to the public and claimed that it was completely safe for the health of customers. Finally, taking into account the testimonies of four thousand customers, Avandia disappeared from the pharmaceutical market of America (Whoriskey, 2012).
Unfortunately, some time ago I also faced with some personal bias, dealing with the impact of medical drugs. For some time, I used drugs to improve the functioning of my liver and gallbladder. At first I did not notice any side effects, prevention was being held in a normal way. After some time I began feeling periodic headaches. During the first few days I did not give this much importance, but a week later I decided to visit a doctor. It appeared that headaches were caused by the use of drugs to the liver. However, such side effect was not mentioned in the instructions.
