The George Washington University is situated in the headquarters of the United States, Washington D.C. this is a privately owned academic institution that provides an all round education curriculum for its students. The institution was founded by Luther Rice. The university is nicknamed the colonials. The admission of students is open to all students who meet the eligibility criteria. The university offers a variety of courses that meet the interests of different students. This is incorporated in the fact that the university has schools and colleges to cater for the diverse interests of its students. The history of the university can be traced back to the 9th day of the year 1821. This was the time when the university attained its charter.

The fact that the nation faces continuous threats of terrorist attacks has led to the adoption of stringent measures especially in Washington D.C. which acts as a major administrative and commercial center. These include professors, course instructors and tutors who possess an in depth understanding and mastery of the course work. These members of the teaching fraternity are also very approachable.
