Good Essay On My Philosohy Of Education As An Elementary School Teacher

I understand that being an elementary school teacher means becoming responsible for children’s upbringing. And I hope to be worth this mission. I will be responsible for the kids’ outlook on life and I want them to learn all the good things from me. I want to treat them like individuals, who, once having grown up, will be doing great things for the world, and hopefully will remember me as somebody who helped them become what they are.
I understand that being an elementary school teacher means taking control of everything and organizing the proper discipline. This might be difficult, but I promise to understand children and put myself in their shoes. I have always liked children and communicating with them is made a lot easier if you make sure that you are on the same page with them: when you are not too strict, but stil letting them feel like they themselves are adults.
I would like my students not just to learn the subject that I teach in order for them to accumulate knowledge. I also want to be able to teach them to be good people. School education is not only about learning facts and reading books, but it is also about learning the basic life lessons and learning how to be good citizens. I want to teach my students what is right and what I wrong and get them to make their own choices.
An elementary school teacher is like another mother. And sometimes children event tend to rely on teachers more than on their own parents. So, I want to be worth the responsibility put on my shoulders.
