It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you Connor Ramirez, a talented young student athlete with great potential and a fantastic thirst for the game, who will complement your college basketball team with his sophisticated technique. Connor joined Varsity Basketball team for Rancho Buena Vista High School three years ago, playing as a Junior Varsity member in his freshman year. Because of his complex technical skills and his dedication for the game, Connor is the captain of his team for the second year consecutively, displaying strong leadership skills as he is determined to make his team successful.
As he played under my supervision, he distinguished as a skillful Shooting Guard, managing to score from closed angles, to infiltrate and shoot from a short distance, but most importantly, to score from a long distance, which is why he is a an impressive three point shooter. Not only is Connor a tactic offensive player, choosing the right moments when to assist and the opportune time for shooting, but he is also highly strategic in defense, as he keeps opponents away by rebounding and repositioning his team in advantage.
I would like to spend a little more time to describe Connor Ramirez in terms of technique, hopefully presenting a loyal reflection of his game and his skills. For me it is admirable to see this sharp player on the field, while for his team mates he is inspiring. Every player from our division knows Connor and because he is considered a threat for other teams, he is very well guarded. Nonetheless, he continues to surprise his opponents with his speed, as he has a quick release and manages to dribble or shoot and gets the ball across, resetting the game.
Connor Ramirez is a hardworking and conscious individual. He is both ambitious and perfectionist, important qualities that helped him polish his technique. Nonetheless, he is very sociable, communicating in a friendly manner with everybody outside the field and transforming into a sound leader while coordinating his team members on the field. Because of his modest economic background, a scholarship would be of tremendous help for Connor, but he is nevertheless committed to sacrifices only to have the opportunity to play college basketball.
Beyond the intensive basketball trainings, Connor is well educated, having the cognitive ability to complete his assignments, while also maintaining good relationships with his instructors and colleagues. He understands the importance of attending classes and being serious about his academic achievements, as he is fully aware that his future depends not only on his remarkable on – field technique, but also on his ability to be consistent about his studies (Harvard Athletics).
On a personal note, I am delighted to have had the opportunity to meet Connor Ramirez and be his high school coach. His aptitude for playing, his enthusiasm and team – player attributes have impressed me over the years and I am convinced that he will continue to inspire and motivate people around him in his new endeavors. Furthermore, because he is a very cordial young man, with proven leadership abilities, he will rapidly integrate and accommodate with his new team members. Connor is dependable and success – driven, this is why I highly recommend him to play for your team, being a real asset and complementing your skilled athletes.
Sincerely,
David Morris, Sr.
