First thing you notice with the essays is they all signify a good sense of being sentimental. I decided to ranked student b’s essay fourth, student a third, student d second, and student c first. All essay had several mistakes mainly with grammar, redundancy, usage of punctuations, and arrangement of words isn’t that effective. Student b and a managed to create the flow of their story despite the mistakes with syntax. The syntactic maturity in this two essays depended on the continuous flow of the ideas and memories in student b and a’s mind. It’s safe to assume that student d’s vocabulary isn’t that flexible but the essay has a certain aura of sentimentality and joy which is a good attribute for writers. Student c is the best of them all because for me, the student’s mind is very general and specific at the same time. The syntactic maturity of student c is ahead of the three because of its usage of verb. In one of the criteria that contributes to a text is the proper use of the best verb to complete each sentence. I would always choose interaction analysis for its participative feature. In a classroom it is wise and best to always monitor a student’s development rather than resort to good results all the time. Participation plays a huge role in promoting a productive classroom because it allow students to engage and put their comprehension to the test by generating random ideas, interpreting them, and then sharing them to the class using their voice or their pen. In writing, the first thing to always consider are the basics like grammar, punctuations, sentence form, and vocabulary. Those basics are vital when it comes to writing, the next factor to consider is their ideas and thoughts. Despite having good writing skills, it would be futile if a student can’t think of any topic to write about and if they have to expand that one idea and connect it to other concept as well. You evaluate their writing skills development by observing the flow of their sentences and their connection to each other. Meaning the student can expand whatever idea he or she have with a wide perspective, critical mind, and keen understanding.
