Nowadays health care insurance of enterprise employees is an important component of the image of a successfully developing company. Care about the health of personnel leads to guaranteed results of increasing work productivity and reducing prevalence. Conclusion of the contract of voluntary medical insurance is one of the most profitable options of providing qualitative and efficient health care of workers.
The benefits of getting health care insurance are obvious. First of all, it goes about accident insurance, especially when one is engaged in dangerous work. Health care insurance is a legally required benefit that is to be provided by an employer obligatory. Thus, you receive the guarantee not only of your present well-being, but also of your future (for instance, when you will retire). Most of the employers suggest only required by the state benefits, while others prefer offering some discretionary ones (Binder, 2013).
Employers are interested in using medical insurance as well as other benefits for different reasons. In future they may more actively use insurance policy for getting fewer problems with taxes. Also a good insurance program makes it possible to attract more highly educated and qualified employees (Martocchio, 2009).
For employees the future of health care insurance does not seem to be so trouble-free. It is owing to the rise of costs on medical insurance. Statistics shows that nowadays there are billions of dollars wasted for health care, while the level of mortality owing to errors, infections and accidents taking place in many hospitals increases (Willburn, 2014).
However, one may see positive tendencies of improving the health insurance system. Nowadays many policymakers and advocates are uniting for solving the problem of poor health insurance. There is a chance that with growing interest to the problem, employers would approach the issue with more responsibility, as employees’ well-being has direct impact on the company’s prosperity.
