When it comes to achieving success in any business, communication must be effective. The present technology assists managers to achieve that goal. The technological tools are such as computers, mobile phones allow access to the internet, social media, group messaging or chat groups, emails and other softwares (Eisenhauer 1). There is the daily implementation of the tools develop effective communication within the workplace. The most useful of the tools are the emails, social media and chat groups. They help in formal communication, create a positive image and to keeping up with current events occurring in the office. However, even though they as important chat groups and social Media are very distracting.
The unique tool utilized in work that is unfamiliar with others is the AI present in the work computer. It assists in keeping files in order, uses voice commands and keeps my schedule up to date. The tools enable me to be very proactive, punctual and organized. The estimation of the efficiency of the tools when it comes to productivity at work or home is equal. The only way to avoid information overload is by focusing on a particular blog, site or product. The most commonly electronic device utilized in everyday life today is the Smartphone.
Part 2
Communication is very sensitive. The issue when not properly approached can lead to many losses such as loss of market share and competitive advantage or poor quality goods. It has to be both ethical and legal. The company’s code of ethics will assist to ensure that communication within the organization is ethical. It also has to be under constant observation, and ethical audits will assist in monitoring and identifying ethical problems (Thill and Bovée 26).
The knowledge of the laws and regulation has helped in promoting effective communication. A manager can use many different methods to deal with communication gaps and ensure there is ethical communication among employees. The approaches are such as the use of contracts dictating what the employee can disclose; protect intellectual property by using patents and copyrights. The use of these methods protects the company from defamation and lawsuits (Thill and Bovée 27).
