Introduction
In this essay, a research has been made on employment availability in the public health area, whether this might be an area of interest to work on and, if not, the reasons why.
When opened the given page for this essay, in the public health area, jobs were found for the position of health communications specialist, lead public health analyst and foreign employment, in Angola, of public health advisor.
Although it is a very important area, in which good organization is fundamental and, therefore, to employ the right people, the job offers found are not of my interest, given that I would like to work in the field and in the United States.
Thus, the public health area is of my interest, of course, but I would be searching for a field job, in which I could interact directly with people, listening to their problems and needs regarding their health and being able to transmit this kind of information to the organizational teams, so that good efficient projects could be built to meet such needs.
Conclusion
When talking about the public health area, one must consider that, not only the field work (which in this case, would be of interest), developed with people with specific health problems and needs, is crucial, but also the whole organization of such projects, in order to meet such needs and improve the public health’s situation.
Thus, forming a stable, competent, experienced team is fundamental to be able to develop good projects, suited and able to be applied to the public, regarding information given about their needs in terms of health, aiding them with the complex health situations the country faces.
