-About 90% of the population of the Planet Earth uses Windows
-The New York Times (Lohr) used to state that Microsoft got enormous success due to the complete version of Windows and its permanent development (95, XP, Vista, 7 etc).
-The coproration was one of the first who understood that ‘Heads’ is the the most important part of the IT business and its HR always hunted for the most talanted (Kumar).
-Microsoft has proven its ability to move from defense to offense. In the case of Xbox, the company identified the online game market as a growth target years ago (Kotter). What about Kinnekt? Doesn’t it proves the winning and leading vector in the company?
-The negative example of Microsoft domination is the row of trials settled towards the monopoly of the corporation: 1991, 1998, 2001, 2007.
-Moreover some developers don’t like the system of its fixed and solid coding (Linux code is free to change, for instance).
-Another side of wide and deep expansion is the rejection of using from the customers side: some of them don’t really want to have OS that each has. So we may state that the popularity of the Brand played a bad game for the company and increased the sales of the competitors (Mac OS).

To which Microsoft has annually spends at least $ 9 billion Perhaps it is not always obvious, but almost every manufactured by Microsoft software product includes the results of R & D. More than 850 scientists and more than 40,000 developers are working on solving this problem all over the world. This is superior to any other investment companies in the world in the field of scientific and technical developments. It is clear that The corporation did not ned to separate from the pack as it was the pioneer of the filed but just needs to support the current position despite the market share it has been holdin since the beginning of the Millenium.
The company gave the market just what it needed – simple, cheap and ‘easy to expand’ software, supported by most of machines (hardware). Microsoft's vision is "A computer on every desk and Microsoft softwareon every computer he will continue to stomp out the competition until hedies. Every business and household must have a computer and must runMicrosoft software” (Kumar).
