Increase of own gritpage 2
According to test result, my grit score is 3.17 (from 1 minimum and 5 maximum points). This fact means that my grit and perseverance is somewhere in the middle, due to this estimate. Moreover, it is actually true. Remembering my life and my actions, I can state that sometimes I was showing the wonders of persistence. During that time, my motivation was as high as a sky; my goal was clear and reasons for doing that were certain. Nevertheless, there were situations with opposite effect. After having spent some time working on a project (for example, I wanted to get a master’s degree), I began to understand that results of my work would be weak, moreover, prospects after obtaining that rank would be misty and unpromising my perseverance was gradually falling.
Assuming all these conclusions, I may distinguish some key points which can enhance your grit on your way to success. First of all, set your goal (wonderofchildren.wordpress.com). It is useless to start 5 projects simultaneously and expect that you would be able to finish all of them by the end of your deadline. I do not mean to have one goal at all. It is excellent when you have many desires, but nevertheless, try to concentrate on one single thing you want to do and throw all your forces to it. Do not start learning three different languages at once. Focus on Russian, for example, and practice it every day unless you get some results. The second thing is the positive spin (wonderofchildren.wordpress.com). Keep optimism, even if your friends and people around don’t believe in you. Always remember that your way is not a sprint, it is a marathon. It is easier to complete one small piece of work every day than deal with a huge stack of stuff at the end of your term. Set your deadline and adhere it - this rule follows from the previous one. When you have a plan, other things will not distract you. At last: provide reminders and have the motivation (wonderofchildren.wordpress.com)! Why are you doing that? For what purpose? What will you get when you achieve your goal? You should know your benefits from it. I think you will agree that if competition in the market between lawyers is high, and you know that jurisprudence is not so desirable branch of science for you, your motivation won’t be high enough to pursue it. If it is necessary to take a breather from a bigger project. We cannot just work and work as machines do.
For me, having motivation is a really important thing. Nonetheless, stop postponing my tasks is as important as motivation. I should always be aware of focusing on my current exercises. I always remind myself what would happen if I put off something that I planned. Stickers and notebook help me with it. From time to time, nearly once a month I read a book of a famous person who has succeeded in the field of my work, these books are my reminders of the way to implement my project. It always motivates me and never let me give up.
