It is the transformational course that occurs in people that result into great leadership and good performance of the organizations. According to Cummings & Worley, “There are many resources that provide techniques for being in a good leadership position, but it is imperative to note that the techniques change drastically, and it is for this reason that several managers and leaders in the various organization continue firefighting (14)”. Notably managing the transformations has resulted in being one of the 'silver bullet' in looking for the eventual aspect in the successful management and leadership approach, process, and traditions in the current companies.
Most of the times, being relevant to the competition regarding demographic shifts, changes in technology, and globalization's demands for the leaders to be embrace change in their current attributes of management. Cummings & Worley notes, “Managing change appropriately is a continual process that incorporates the arts and science which ascertains the relevance to the company’s policies, setting and process. Importantly, the leaders should involve the staff in the crucial decisions, and they should reward performance instead of time (37)”. Also, instead of the leaders to simply react to what has occurred, they should take the step of renovating and containing the changes.
In summary, despite the fact that it is hard to execute the changes, incorporating the above-stated strategies and values can be of great assistance to the managers and leaders to increase the performance of the organizations. Besides, it is through the inner-work of a leader that they the good leadership skills can be portrayed as suitable. It starts with the scrapping of the mistaken notions about oneself, discovering incredible reserves of the individual ingenuity. With a good transformational strategy, the result will be the preeminent purpose, higher principles, and values that acknowledge organizational brainpower.
