Proposal for the restructuring and renovation of the Wayward Hotel
The strategic location of the hotel enhances the ability to attract more customers. Initially, the Wayward Hotel was famous among many people but over the past recent years the hotel has lost its original reputation. Thus, there is valid reason to restructure the employees, renovate the entire hotel and vanish it with proper facilities.
As the new management of the Wayward Hotel, it is important to commence with the streamlining the organizational structure starting with the employees. The following is well-restructured proposal for the organizational chart of the employees;

The effective number of workers should be between thirty to thirty five workers. The employees ought to be skilled and trained on matters concerning hotel and catering. The General Manager is the senior most employee whose mandate is overall management of the hotel and representation of the hotel in stakeholder meetings. The human resource manager has the role of overseeing the welfare and is in charge of other workers in the hotel. On the other hand, the accounts office, which is made up of the cashiers, is majorly concerned with finance and cash flows of the hotel. In addition, the other category of workers is specialized in various fields ranging from cooking, serving, indoor chaos to outdoor chaos like cleaning. All the workers should have proper skills according to the position they are holding. For example, the managers ought to be skilled in management aspects.
The prime aim of renovating and upgrading facilities at the hotel is to create proper functioning of the systems at the hotel.
The renovation is necessarily for the aesthetic preferences and the improvement of the general outlook of facilities at the hotel. The new facilities department’s role is to ensure that facilities are upgraded or other new facilities are acquired. First, the rooms to be renovated, mechanical and electrical systems upgraded. In addition, the fountain outside the hotel should be modified, renovated to ensure aesthetic appearance for outdoor activities or events.
The kitchen is an important unit of the hotel and therefore it should be equipped with kitchen equipments such as kitchen refrigeration, food storage equipments among others. In the end, the renovation process almost meant a full redressing of the key systems of the hotel; the improvements will definitely meet the needs of the daily routine. The upgrading of the systems should ensure that the facilities created take the rights of the disabled people into consideration. The construction of the lanes or paths or escalators has to be designed in such a way that it is passable by wheelchairs.
Landscaping is an aesthetic aspect that makes the entire environment or the surrounding of the hotel look appealing. A competent landscaping company to be selected and given the mandate to landscape the both outdoors and indoors of the hotel, proper landscaping styles, patterns and components should be identified.
Preventive maintenance plan is the servicing and care by the hotel personnel with the aim of maintaining facilities and equipment in satisfactory functioning condition through systematic detection, correction and inspection of insipient failures that can occur either after or before major defects. In addition, preventive maintenance plan involves measurements, tests, parts replacements and adjustments to hinder any faults from occurring.
