The company essentially works in cloud computing whereby it helps organizations to store, protect, manage and analyze data and information in a versatile, cost-efficient and trusted manner.
Duties and responsibilities
At EMC, a data analyst is expected to obtain data and information from clients and advise clients on the way EMS shall handle the data and how best the clients can benefit from the information stored in the company’s cloud systems.
Data analysts need to have acquired education in mathematics, computer science, statistics or other closely related fields. It is critical they have additional certifications in data analysis.
The data analyst at EMC will also evaluate the risks and the abilities of the organization to seek new technologies in handling data through cloud computing technologies.
The Data analyst shall use mathematical skills to estimate the numerical data and issues of how much to charge clients for different quantities of information.
Critical thinking is crucial in performing as a data analyst at EMC because one has to handle massive data on trends, numbers, and data which is later to be used to make solid conclusions on client data. A data analyst at EMC needs to be one who loves working with computers.
A data analyst has to be called upon to present their findings and communicate to clients in a manner they can understand.
