Diabetes is a serious issue in today’s society. With your diagnosis I can see why you enjoyed the article. You can relate to the information and issues with that topic. It sounds like you are at a very high risk for developing diabetes due to your health and family history. I agree that diabetes is a health issue that needs to be more controlled in today’s society. Cost affordable resources are needed for people who are at risk of being diabetic or for individuals who are already diabetic.
You have a good start to a strategic plan to try to reduce the diabetic issue, and have the proper funding to be able to implement your plan financially. Finances are important when coming up with a plan. Without the financial resources it would be difficult to put a plan into motion and make it work.
I agree having a strategic plan set in place by the government to fix the issues America is facing would be beneficial. A plan of action and goals is important when trying to fix, or change an important issue or situation. Without the strategic plan the issue will more than likely not be handled properly. “The process of strategic planning can be an effective first step in achieving that necessary alignment” . Goals are needed in order to reach the end process of the plan. If there is no goal set to be reached then the end result won’t be able to happen. The strategic plan should work in a positive process to reach the goal that is needed to be reached.
You has talked about stakeholders and how you would first choose them for funding for your strategic plan. How many stake holders would you need for financial resources to get your plan in motion? What strategy would you use to figure this out?

The article concerning the diabetic health issues is an important topic in today’s society. Knowledge and education is an important role that needs to be played when setting a strategic plan for this type of health concern. The need to reduce diabetes in America is important, and finding new ways to decrease the risk of developing it. A strategic plan is needed to be put in place that outlines the process and what goals are needing to be reached. Having a plan set in motion will help the long process move more smoothly. This will help the plan continue in a positive direction without any road blocks along the way.
American power has a great significance in today’s economic problems. I agree with your argument that the first step in the strategic plan should involve the stakeholders. The stakeholders are needed for many reasons. The plan will need funding, knowledge, and resources to make it happen properly and effectively.
The strategic plan is needed in keeping the focus on track and being able to know what steps to take to continue to force the plan into action. If the process of the plan is not working the plan needs to be revised or followed more carefully to ensure the goals are reached in a timely manner. Without a strategic plan put in place it is harder to reach goals, and have everyone involved in the plan working on the same page. The plan may not go smoothly or proficiently if not everyone involved is working towards the same goals and issues. “Effective strategic planning articulates not only where an organization is going and the actions needed to make progress, but also how it will know if it is successful” .
