Enactment of transparency policy in clinical research is commendable. Transparency is significant in ensuring quality healthcare is provided for all. The legislation was developed due to the continued complaints about lack of transparency. The medical field is one of the professional jobs that require integrity and transparency (National Research Council (U.S.) 31). AllTrials put its efforts in campaigning for a change in clinical research. Vital information was presented but was not published.
The intervention by World Health Organization saw the formulation of the policy. Jointly, (European Medical Agency) EMA showed its support for the enactment of the policy (Turner & Nguyen 27). Various literatures in clinical care, for example, journals, databases, advocacy institutions, and pharmaceutical organizations rendered the policy successful by bringing in its inputs ("Health care policies and institutions." 94). The statutory elements such as European Clinical Trial Regulation (ECTR) had similar sentiments in putting its timeline to be in line with the policy. Further, the concern was to engage the various stakeholders who had a stake in clinical care. National Institution of Health (NIH) pushed its mandate to ensure that proposed policy was implemented (Süreci 11).
The policy success history shows its effort in authenticating information and research done. Evaluation and analysis are conducted. Research deemed crucial is printed and provided for expansion of the work of clinicians. Various “clinical trials” as per NPRM mandate indicate the concerned personnel in the research process. The future amendments proposed by in the legistlation indicate the need to adopt the technology (Health Affairs 13). The advancement in technology has seen the innovation and creation of newer findings that help in finding medical solutions to various diseases. The recommendation indicated in the various researcher conducted call for transparency. Well-established research institution tends to receive favor in publishing their work. However, the policy calls for equity and transparency in the presentation of the various researches done.
