Kudler Fine Foods (Scope and Stakeholders)
The project is the introduction of a technology that intends to help in tracking customers’ satisfaction. The system will be designed to track individual customers' purchase and those customers identified as regular customers will be rewarded. The reward system will help in gaining customer loyalty and in the long-run the business will have an established loyal customer base. The new system will be designed in such a way that a customer will be earning points based on the number of purchases he or she makes at a particular time. Customers will redeem their points and make a free purchase of some of the products including the foodstuff. By designing this new technology, Kudler will have an opportunity of maintaining its customers as well as acquiring more potential customers who will be interested in the program.
The Key stakeholders of this project shall entail the shareholders within the company, the employees and the customers. The shareholders will help in providing the required funds to make the project a reality. Therefore, management will provide the required financial resources to initiate the project (Turner, 2014). Management will set up the project team to execute the project. The project team will consist of the project manager, the project accountant, IT designers and other expertise required for the development of the new system. The customers are also important stakeholders because they will help in approving the project before is closed. Project closure will only take place if the customers accept the outcome of the completed project (Turner, 2014). The approval of the project will only be possible if the customers will find the system beneficial. It is expected that the introduced system will help customers to gain value of their money. Therefore, a successful implementation will not face customers’ refusal.
