There was no beast only a bunch of scared, tired and idle kids who failed to see the real thing. There was no beast only terror that misguided us and lured into the trap of our own imagination. We were all frightened by this island, situation and by the unknown and we still are. There was no beast but there is now. There is a monster in this island that switches off our minds turning us into animals and no dances will save us. There is no light in this darkness Light! Exactly! We need light that will deliver us from everything deliver us home. I wonder, does chief remember his home or he found a new one, a better one? Don`t they forget the loving arms that await them in a cozy and warm home. What was that? What did Piggy say? Oh, yes, warmth – fire we need to keep it burning all the time! That`s why I need the fire, yes, it is the only reasonable thing among all this nonsense. We need this fire more than anything! It will chase the beast awayit will keep his victims away.
Oh, my God how did we end up like this? Why are we turning into these savage and primitive creatures? Am I the only one that sees it? We`re losing ourselves we`re losing our face, mind and friends. I`m so scared! I`m so bloody scared of all of this, of myself! I do not look like a human being anymore and I hardly act like one. The last genuine, reasonable person has gone and we helped him in this. We all are beasts created by our unleashed mixture of fear and barbarity. But the fire will save us.
