Reflection
Introduction
I enjoyed the interaction with the members of my team while trying to create the design of the chair. The shapes and designs suggested by the members of my team were unique making the project enjoyable to work on the project. The exposure to various trials and designs of the chair made the project very interesting and enjoyable.
This creation of the 3-D construction design made the project very challenging. The process was very challenging because it involved a lot of brainstorming and creativity. This also made the project challenging because it involved the various trials and experiments. The design project was, therefore, very challenging because of the technical and creativity skills required.
The project description should be improved on the aspects relating to the weight the chair should support. The criteria relating to the formation of the 3-D structure should be improved in order to make the process easy to handle. The quality and nature of the cardboard should be improved in order to make the chair comfortable and strong.
The whole process of dealing with project enabled me to develop creativity skills and 3-D skills which are very essential in engineering. The project also enabled me to understand engineering in relation to the strength or quality of materials. The project also enabled me understand engineering in relation to sharpness and shape of various designs.
The design project enabled me to develop interpersonal skills while working with my team. The aspects relating to 3-dimensional skills enabled me to develop professionalism in the engineering field. The 3-D skills are of the essence in enabling me to carry out various projects in the engineering field. The interpersonal skills are also very important in brainstorming of various methods to carry out design projects in the future.
