Dear instructor,
I am pleased to announce that this class has taken me on a road of enlightenment in terms of self-discovery and unbiased self-analysis and evaluation. This class has helped me pin point my strongest areas as an essay writer and it has also helped me note, with high levels of accuracy, my weakest areas in the prior. Primarily my weakness was the in-depth discussion of contentious social issues and occurring global trends and how hey influence our daily lives. I was primarily more inclined towards fictional writing and with more of a surrealistic mind frame. More often than not I turned a blind eye to arising social issues and issues pertaining to mainstream media and society as a whole. This class has helped me cross the rift between fictional writing and reality writing which is concerned with genuine social issues as well as political and cultural issues. I am still into fictional writing but I also find thrill and fulfillment in focusing on and writing about genuine trending issues and how they shape our daily lives and subconsciously influence the behavior of a large number of people. Previously the concept of long essays used to send chills down my spine and just the thought of a long essay gave me endless nightmares. Thanks to the interventive nature of this class I no longer have a problem with in-depth and elongated discussion of issues. I actually prefer long essays as they give me the appropriate avenue to air all aspects of my insight on the matter being discussed as well as exploring other aspects of the matter which my occur in contrary to my own opinion.
The textbooks in application throughout this class have also gone a long way in aiding my genesis as an essay writer. They have helped me know how to logically synchronize my ideas and frame of thought with the matter under discussion in a particular essay. They have also helped me know how to format my essay in a logical and more understandable manner that is appealing to the reader and attractive to any onlooker thus tempting them to read my work. Logical arrangement of ideas and their expression is another valuable lesson I learnt from the text books applied in this class.
