The president as a head of the state plays an obvious role in the directing the government and parties of the country toward the bright future. However, sometimes it is hard to find the right and powerful words so that the government understands that to make some distinctive progress, it is of vital Importance to stand side by side with each other.
One of such examples may be the article devoted to the theme of the American president, Barack Obama, who made a great speech thanking all the parties for the work of the previous year. As it is mentioned in the article, he pronounced his sincere thanks to both parties and the government without underlying somebody`s greater magnitude. This is how the authors of the article describe the importance of the political union:
“In brief remarks to the members, Mr. Obama sought to buck them up, declaring himself proud of the work they have done together during his presidency and vowing to strive to cement their joint legacy.” ( Herszenhorn, Shear, The New York Times)
It is observed that President Obama pays a special attention to evaluating the work of his colleagues and co-members of the Party. It is highly advisable to remember that generally the duties of the President in every country are differently approached. Inspite of all that, there is one duty to be executed by every President regardless of a state – that is the sincere and truthful appreciation of the whole political system, which includes all the parties. The USA awaits for the new page in its history – the elections and the newly elected President.
Despite all that, still the authors of the article tried to quote the different attitude of Mr. Obama toward Republicans and their political manner of managing issues:
“We hold ourselves to higher standards, than the Republicans. If ze stay true to those principles, our party`s not just going to have a good year, America is going to have a good year.” (Herszenhorn, Shear; The New York Times).
During the decades, American presidents tried to be tolerant to all the political parties, inspite of the side they are truthful to. It is a well-known fact that the Republican and Democratic parties genuinely do not have a remarkable difference. It ismore about the tradition rather than the political thing to support one or another side. Regardless of this fact, as in any country, the opposing sides are always the opposing ones that contradict each other.
Correspondingly, the President here plays an enormous part in creating the balance and peace as the centre of the legacy, fairness and egality. The country cannot launch succesful economy, education and social system without the peace between the political sides. Moreover, it is of a great importance to govern the state in such a way so that the politics does not affect the everyday life of average citizens. This article truly proves that Mr. Obama chose the righteous path to rule the United States, creating a peaceful atmosphere and harmony among the politicians.
