The stakeholders are all the individuals that take interest in the project and are actively involved in performing the functions of the company. All the employees and the customers of the organizations are the stakeholders. Employees are the stakeholders that are directly affected due to the change in the profitability of the company. The underlying article has discussed the information about the project. The article has discussed my personal experience and told that how the stakeholders help me in the underlying project. The sponsor of the project is a stakeholder that is responsible for the allocation of resources and decision making. In the underlying project all the subcontractors, customers, employees and the suppliers are the stakeholders. I was the project manager and deal with several stakeholders. As a project manager I have the strong relationship with the stakeholders and they contribute in the success of the underlying project. Some of the most important stakeholders of the project are as follows:
The stakeholders in the top management include director, president and vice president. The top management stakeholders provide me support in the accomplishment of the project. The stakeholders in the top management hires the talented and skilled staff members that provide me help in this project. The top management helps to provide the information about the resources that the company has additional resources to complete the project (Carter, 2012).
Project team
As a manager, I provide support and training to all the team members of the project. Each stakeholder in my team provides his best effort and help in solving the problems faced by the company. The employees help the other members when they need help. The team members were very supportive and provide help in the completion of the project (Chong, 2015).
Peers
Peers include all the stakeholders that are on the same level in the organization. All the peers have a deep focus on the underlying project and they help me in the accomplishment of the project. The peers provide cooperation and support. The peers are responsible for the success of the project and provide a contribution on the success of the project (Salinesi & Sturm, 2014).
Internal customers
The internal customers are the customers of the underlying project. The internal customers have the power of accept or reject the project. As a manager, I discuss all the issues with the internal customers and they help me in resolving those issues. I have the strong relationship with the internal customers that help me to evaluate their culture (Hobbs & Besner, 2016).
External customers
The project is marketed for the external stakeholders. In the underlying project, the external customers are the purchaser of the houses. I maintain the strong relationship with the external stakeholders. Strong relationship helps me in increasing the number of customers (Yang & Yeh, 2013).
Suppliers and contractors
The suppliers provide the best quality material for the underlying project. The project was fully dependent upon the material provided by the supplier so it was very essential to make the strong relationship with the supplier. The project can be affected if the supplier provides the poor quality material or if he charges the higher prices or if the supplier does not deliver the material on time. The supplier helps in the completion of the project. The supplier provides me the good quality material and delivers the material on time that helps me in effectively completion of the project (Rose, 2015).
