Societal pressures can often force one into isolation, low self-esteem, and even self-hatred. Why is there so much pressure, and what can we as a whole society do about it? I’m glad you asked.
Particularly, the topic of beauty is prevalently manipulative. The problem is widespread. Society has built a lie.
You are more beautiful than her. You are uglier than him. This is the common voice of societal competition.
Why give in to it? Why not fight the fight? Is it because we don’t believe it is a fight we can win?
Is it not us? Are we not the base of socity itself, from which foundations either strengthen and rise or crumble? Such questions are necessary, in order to get to the root of thought and weed out the bad seed.
If not us, then who? Is it not we who are to write this present chapter of society and leave one for the generations to come? Or, will there be generations to come..if we do not act? The future is now.
People commit suicide every single day. It is done for a number of reasons both
explained and never truly explained, both discovered with time and never truly discovered at all. Here lies the heart of the matter.
Do you want to find yourself, or have you already been there? If so, do you want to help someone else to find himself or herself? If not, why not? Is this not our purpose in life, to be helped and to help?
Wouldn’t it just change the world if we could—every now and again, or every day—step out of our own cozy little “comfort zones” and help the hurting? How, you ask? Have we not felt what they feel?
Or have we merely forgotten their cries, drowned out by the cold shills of our own aches and past pains? How about we revive them again, as a society? How about as a nation, or as a world?
People feel that they need something; there is something and someone out there for each and every single person. This I believe. For everybody, the experience is different.but the same.
How can it be different and also the same? Well, are we not all from Adam? Are we not all one?
Do we not all laugh? Do we not all cry? Do we not all get scared, and yes, eventually.die?
Considering the present thought, why do we bicker and waste time in believing whatever lie which society imposes upon us? Why accept it as truth? Are we afraid to think for ourselves, and define?
The matter continues. We eat. We drink. We laugh and are merry.
The next daywe go out and fight. We make war. We wound, and are wounded. The cycle begins again.
Indeed, nothing every truly is new under the sun.as they say. Kingdoms rise and fall. History is written and rewritten.
The only thing that does not change, however, is the present course. What will you do to alter it, for good or for bad? Choose the former and not the latter; many lives and destinies depend on it.
For the sake of our own children and grandchildren—as well as their own children and grandchildren, eventually—let us write a new course. Let us chart a new path. Today is the beginning.
Let us remove the vain and idol thinking that goes behind ‘having to be the very best of the best’. Why not help another to see his or her own beauty their your eyes? Why not through theirs?
Moles, spots, freckles, wrinkles, scabs, marks, diseases, and sores----they are only external. True beauty is not. What you see on the outside does not even begin to tell you of what is inside.
What is inside may only be known through time and discovery. What is on the outside is merely an open door into that world of discovery. If you do not enter the door, you do not join in the quest.
What fun is that? Would you prefer to stand outside and knock? Don’t you seek a quest?
If people continue to devour each other and despise each other, based merely on external clothing or personal look decisions..then society will crumble. It is a fact. I believe it with all of my heart.
I believe that wars, violence attacks, lawsuits, disputes, and the like—have originated from our beliefs. Do we believe that we are ugly or without value? Do we place such a view on others?
This information is nothing new. I am aware of that. Yet, repetition is key.
What was known as the weakness of one generation can become the strength of the next. It all depends upon you.or should I say, upon us. We decide; we build and we destroy. What do we choose?
If there were more supervision and less bullying in schools, for example, there would be less people in jail. This is a widely speculated fact. People are most impressionable when younger.
Bullies pick on other studies, discriminating by a number of factors. Such factors include looks, status, clothing styles, taste in music, and much more! There is more going on than meets the eye.
For so many trends and fashion statements, as well as businesses and monuments, have been built on such notions. Ideas, strongholds of the mind, perceptions and misperceptions---these form a world.
People have made the greatest and worst decisions in history.based upon what they viewed of others. It has also been done based upon what they viewed as others’ opinions on them. What did they think?
Does it really matter? I say, yes! The simple reason: the past will always affect the present and future.
Do not mess with time. Do not waste it. Tomorrow is not promised. Do not waste the present time.
For richer or for poorer, for better or for worse.let us not judge others. Let us look inward. For that is where it begins.
With less scrutiny and overtly biased, propagandized opinionization regarding a person’s outer beauty.we should find freedom. It would be better with none of it. Yet, nobody is perfect.and history at times has tended to repeat itself. We make the same mistakes; yet we learn and rise from them. That is the beauty of humanity.and it is definitely one redeemed in the long run.
Initally, people judge others and enter unnecessary disputes and competitions. Yet with time, relationships are amended. People are seen for who they truly were on the insidewhich is all that is truly remembered.
Many people have found true liberating peace and freedom in who they are. They do not need to be ashamed. They find no reason to run or hide; that is powerful.
Make the right choice today and tell someone that they look beautiful. Mean it. Believe it. You are beautiful too; don’t ever forget that. Society is not perfect, but we can be the change that it needs!
