For this assignment I have selected the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part I movie (IMDb). The relationship I want to discuss is the friendship between Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter. The movie described the time of war, when people could trust nobody. Three friends were travelling together, searching for the horcruxes – pieces of the soul of the evil warlock to be able to kill him. It was a time when Ron and Hermione left their families to help their friend Harry, who had no parents. This was very challenging to all of them. Together with the influence of horcrux, that was the creation of dark magic, the friendship of Ron and Harry succumbed to a severe test. During the time period, when friends were trying to destroy the one of horcruxes, Ron was very critical about critical of the Harry’s ideas about how to damaging the part of dark soul. And the day, when friends were separated, Ron insulted Harry that he has nobody to care about, when Harry told, that he is worried about his friends, who are participating in the resistance and know what is the fear about close people, Ron told him that he does not know it, he has no family as Harry’s parents were dead.
Another type of relationship with similar type of destructive behavior is a romantic relationship between Ron and Hermione. When Ron was leaving, he asked if Hermione is going with him or staying with Harry. Her decision made him attacking her with reproach, and criticize her decision. It has a bad influence on their future relationship hen Ron came back to friends, as Hermione could not forgive him for a long time. She could not forgive his words and his leaving. If Ron did not make the Hermione to make a choice between him and her best friend Harry, it could be a less destructive situation. On the other hand, if Hermione started to list flaws of Ron, criticize his decision to leave or even making ultimatums such as “leave and lose me or stay with me regardless the situation), their relationship would be much worse and more destructive.
In conclusion I would like to say, that we all have influence on our lives and relationship we are involved in. All of us can avoid attracting the Horsemen of Apocalypse in the everyday life. It is not easy, as we have to work on it, watch out and control our emotions towards other people. Our patience and understanding, our love and care can make this world better.
