Human Resource System Development for the Company
Introduction
In order to stand out in the market, the company needs to develop its systems regularly in order stay relevant in the industry against the cutthroat competition. In the current world, technology is rampant, and it changes day-to-day affecting the businesses differently (Soundly, 2015). As a result, the company needs to be all round when it comes to development whether it comes to financial issues, human resource, information technology and its future success prospects (Mathur 1).
Need of the project
The company needs to upgrade its systems now and then. As a result, as a project manager, we saw the future prospects for developing a system for human resource development. The system will be able to create a unique way in which every employee will undergo training on the newer technology at his or her inception. The training will occur in a way that it will not destruct the progress of the normal setting of the organization (Bael 2).
Operational concepts
The employees training development system will be in a form of software that will be installed on every machine in which the employee will be using. The software will be in a form of a training program that is interactive to the user (Mathur 1).
Cost of the project
The management system will not be that expensive. It will require the purchase of the training software. The software is called HR software. The software goes for$ 600 .then to add the installation cost and the cost of training the employees on how to use the software. Approximately, it goes to a maximum cost of $700.
Duration
The system management program takes an individual employee 14 days to complete it. In each day, it will take a two-hour session from the time someone logs into the time one log into the time they log out. The duration is added to the time the manager is configuring the system to the internet.
Proposed Technology that will be used in the Project.
HR software system uses the best technology in the market. The software is best for the growing midsize businesses .the software has the unique features installed on it that will allow intersection between human resource management and-and information technology.
Stakeholder analysis
The stakeholder analysis refers to the individuals that will be actively responsible for the project implementation. The IT manager in the organization would perform the role of the project manager and ensure that all the employees know to use the software. Generally, the project will have three participants that include the employees, the IT manager and the HRM manager (Peopletrack 2).
Factors that Influence the Project Progress and Plan to Control them
It is hard to find a project that succeeds without challenges affecting its progress. The challenges do arise in from the management, the stakeholders or even lack of resources. The challenges that will occur are as follows.
1. Failure of the Software to be Compatible with the Organization
The organizational culture may not go hand In hand with the targeted project. In this situation, there can be two options to be used in order to solve the challenge. It is either to try different software or to enforce.
2. Lack of employee involvement
If the employees will not embrace the introduction of the program, there will be higher chances of project failure. The solution to this can be educating the employees on the need of software the organization.
Benefits of the Project to the Societal Organization
Personnel Development
This project is more of built to the personnel development system. The software has range educational and motivational resources aimed at improving the employee’s skills and self-esteem. The resources available in the software has the materials for any job description such as regular workplace training ethics, business skills, hands-on materials and processes ( Peopletrack n.d).
Included in the software is the professional track system that is also known as the dual track system. This system helps the employees to state ways that they can contribute to the company positively. Though the use of the software, the organization will be aware of the employees’ needs and how they can work together for the achievement of the company’s goals.
Ethical Standard Promotion through the Project
The software would act as a tool of empowerment and education .through education on business ethics and skills, the employees will be more knowledgeable on what to be done and what ought not to be done (Workplace Training, n.d).
Leadership Development for Future Generation
The project aims at creating a working environment where its trained employees can maximize their capabilities for the betterment of their future and the company improvement. The system software will also inculcate the talent management system with competency models that will replicate their images. The employee expectation will be able to be fulfilled while being motivated (Workplace Training, n.d).
