Herewith, I am presenting my personal memo for your kind information. This note covers certain important details about my background and brought up, my interests, achievements and goals.
Background
I was born on September 21, 1991 in the city of Al-hasa in Saudi Arabia. My family comprises of my mother, three brothers and three sisters. Ever since my father, who took care of our family, passed away when I was fourteen years old, my mother took full responsibility for our upbringing. Currently, my mother is a manager administering the General Presidency for Girls’ Education in the country. Since the death of my father I, along with my older brother, have been supporting my mother to take care of my younger brother and sisters. I was in the middle school and my older brother in high school when we started shouldering the family responsibility of taking care of our sick father and other siblings. I recollect thankfully the five years I spent with my ailing father taking care of his needs. Once, my mother left us with our uncle to take our father to Czechoslovakia for better treatment. However, my father died a year later in 2002 after a heart attack and remaining brain dead for four months. At present, we are a loving family living with my mother and helping each other. Having undergone many hardships to care for us and see our success, she gives a hundred reasons for us to live cheerfully.
Interests
I have a flair for literature and love to write poems. I hope to publish my own poetry collection one day, and to sharpen my writing skills I practice writing on a regular basis. I love football, play the game, and have learned a lot about it. I am a great fan of Arsenal; Arsenal interests me more than anything else in this world. I am passionate about Arabic history and proud of its rich heritage. I read a lot of Arabic literature. Having come a long way from the good olden days, I wish the politicians of my country behave more reasonably by doing and practicing what they say.
Achievements
1.When I look back at my achievements today, my first achievement was understanding the family realities and helping my mother by taking good care of my sick father. In fact, the experience taught me to be more responsible besides making me a matured adult.
2. Secondly, l learned English at college in my country and improved my spoken English skills. 3. Thirdly, I traveled around the world visiting Britain, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Thailand, Malaysia and the Gulf States. Travelling overseas helped me understand the people and appreciate their cultures.
4. Fourthly, I have an insatiable appetite for the printed words and have read a lot of books. Currently, I am reading 1001 inventions of Muslim Civilization which opened my mind by reminding me that the Arabs once led the whole world in science and technology.
5. Finally, I have taught youngsters what I learned from reading, which has inspired many individuals to pursue higher studies.
Goals
After completing my BS degree, I aspire to work in Germany, France or England for a few years before returning home to study Arabic or History. I keep on learning and would love to travel across the world to give the people good messages that would transform their lives.
