Nature has always suffered from people. Unfortunately, the problem of environmental pollution became a critical issue within recent years. With the appearance of light and heavy industries, overcrowded metropolitan cities, global population became suffer from a number of different diseases caused by pollution. Thus, since 1950s environmental damage tops the global problems list.
Nowadays, humanity can feel the shortage of fresh air, drinking water and fertile land. Thus, polluted air causes different respiratory track diseases; polluted water extinguishes marine life, in particular, sea mammals, fish and seabirds; polluted soil cannot give safe harvest. Besides, natural beauty is dying day by day.
The situation with pollution not only in the local environment but also all over the world is very complicated. On the one hand, people can live no more without up-to-date technologies, for example, cars, mobile phones, laptops, etc. While cars polluting air, they provide people with comfortable and quick transportation. Even many factories and plants which foul up the air create workplaces; provide humans with means of living and produce necessary stuff for human existence. Pesticides and fertilizers may be essential for crops, but soil may lose its fertility.
There are a great number of people including engineers and scientists trying to cope with the current problem. Being supported by the government, they try to find solution approaches to reduce pollution from cars and plants. Every day ordinary people feeling sorry for their environment arrange strikes and flash mobs to pay attention of governments and humans from other countries to the urgent threat. Unfortunately, a lot of individuals disagree with the existence of such problem and do nothing to change their future for better.
Even these four tips can make our environment less polluted. If every day everybody thinks about beauty and purity of nature and does everything to save it, we will get more fresh air, safe drinking water and fertile land. Moreover, we must teach our children to love the environment they live in and take care of it. We need to raise a new nature friendly generation. All garbage is a waste product of human beings, so only we can stop the pollution. After all, everybody is responsible for his/her actions.
