- Apple as a company was incorporated or rather birthed in the year 1976 on the first of April. This company was the brainchild of Steve jobs and Steve Wozniac along with Ronald Wayne.
- The first product to be produced and commercially sold by the company during the early days of its inception was the apple 1. This was a personal computer, which was personally designed by none other than Steve Wozniac single handedly and without any help at all from any quarters whatsoever.
- The apple 1 as a product that was personally built by the co-founder of the company Steve Wozniac. This means that the product was built by hand from the beginning to the very final product that was produced for commercial purposes by the company.
- Ronald Wayne however sold his shares of the company to Steve jobs and Steve Wozniac at an astounding price of a measly $ 800. This means that he no longer had ant affiliations whatsoever with the company therefore leaving Steve jobs and Steve Wozniac as the only two individuals exclusively at the top of the pyramid or rather in charge of the company.
- Apple became fully incorporated in the year 1977 on the third of January. This means that it became a fully-fledged and registered company in that year. This happened after Ronald Wayne had sold his shares of the company therefore relinquishing any affiliations or claims he had over the company.
- Over a five-year period after the inception of apple as a corporation, business was booming to say the least. This is because the revenues associated with the company doubled in terms of their value after a period of every four months. The company recorded an astonishing growth rate that is record breaking at 700% all in the first five years of its incorporation.
- The second major product produced by Apple Company was the apple 2. Just like its predecessor the apple 2 was also designed exclusively and single handedly by Steve Wozniac.
- The apple 2 stood about among all similar products produces back at the time. This is because the apple 2 had a uniqueness factor to it in terms of the inbuilt features, which were not present in any other products produced at the time. An example is the color graphics associated with this product, which was rather unique back at the time.
- In 1980, the company introduced the apple 3.this product had more corporate inclinations as opposed to home leisure inclined use. This n product targeted the growing corporate market and was designed specifically to compete with IBM and Microsoft, giants in the corporate market back at the time.
- In 1979, Steve jobs conceptualized the concept of a graphical user interface which would be incorporated into all future products of the company. This graphical user interface was designed to make the products of the apple company friendlier to the user thus easier to use and more entertaining to the user.
- In the year 1980 on the 12th of December the apple company went public with shares trading at $22 per share. This was a record and the IPO generated more income than any other IPO before it aside from the ford motor company IPO that took place in the year 1956.
- Apple Lisa produced the first ever personal computer for commercial sale back in the year 1983 with a graphical user interface that made it more user friendly as compared to other products in circulation back at the time. This product was however an economic failure. Its lack of success was caused by its very high price tag, which limited the number of people who could buy it as well as its limitations in terms of software titles.
- The company ventured into the production of mobile phones as well as the production of state of the art portable music devices. Among the most famous apple products in this regard are the ipad, the iPhone, and the iPod touch. These products rose to prominence in their respective fields because of their innovations in their respective fields, which to this day remain state of the art or rather unmatched by the available competition.
- The company also introduced the iTunes store. This is an online store that is revolutionary to say the least. This is because the store gives users an avenue to buy and download music of their choice on a digital platform that also sees the music makers making money from the sale of their music on the platform. This therefore in a way is a form of free advertising for the artists.
- The company also ventured into the production of the MacBook. This is a line of laptops that are state of the art in terms of their inbuilt features with reference to both hardware and software. The MacBook also has a physical design that makes it stand out as an element of beauty and design genius.
- On the 24th of October in 2011, Steve jobs resigned as CEO off the company sighting health reasons and later died.
