INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR USE IN HUMAN RESOURCE PROCESSES AND FUNCTIONS
Background information
There are many processes that are met in the human resource sector in any organization. Because of the fact that it is one sector which cuts across all industries, there is a need to have an information system that will automate the tasks in the department. After the system has been implemented, it will be easier to use it in any other organization with minimal or no changes at all. This research proposal will focus on the requirements development of a human resource information system (HRIS).
There is a lack of information system that can be used in the human resource sector. Most human resource functions lack automated systems. It is the purpose of this proposal to solve this problem.

- What are the requirements for developing a human resource information system?
- What infrastructure is required for effective implementation of a HRIS?
- Is there a human resource information system in place?
