The law enforcement is a structure that is believed to reproduce the justice in the society. It is important though that the representatives of these forces perform their duties in accordance with the law. However, there is a possible problem that if there is no diversity in representatives inside the structure, the interpretation and implementation of various law questions could be distorted. With the help of representatives of all groups of the society, it would be easier to understand the nature of specific concerns and problem situation, as well as easier to find a solution for them. For example, issues with rape attempts or race oppression cases could be revealed quicker due to the participation of various points of view. The homogeneity of the law enforcement structure weakens its capacity to function in full power; this is why I absolutely agree that using old methods of recruitment will not help to build the diverse and effective workforce . Because of various gender stereotypes and prejudices against minorities, I believe that the access to the law enforcement jobs was limited and complicated. Luckily, with the change of the politics of the recruitment, there is the chance to facilitate this process.
The two most effective recruitment strategies of the ones listed I regard resources and selection and training of the recruiters . It is necessary and important to provide the potential workers with the compatible salaries, equipment and other benefits, including social security. In order to attract various categories of the society to work in this sector, there must be an opportunity to offer a range of possibilities that would be interesting for all of them.
The second strategy about the selection and training of the recruiters is even more responsible, as this is how the whole system is about to be build and it is important to make in a right way. By the correct training the chances to attract in the future the desirable representatives would be easier and more complex.
