Proposal: Airport Environment Management and Noise Control
Airport management is an essential component in the flight's industry. This is because; there are key issues that should be considered for an effective and ideal environment in this setting. Noise is a form of environmental pollution that affects the surroundings of the airport. Therefore, of major concern is the management of noise control in the airport. There is a diverse range of social, economic and environmental effects that can either be positive or negative and thus; noise control is mainly linked to investments and economic generators to an airport and its surroundings (Woodward et al. 2009). However, there are reported cases that noise affects the communities that live near an airport negatively. Negative impacts are mainly classified in terms of destroying of the auditory nerve system of human beings and destruction of homes and other properties. Therefore, noise control is an important factor to be considered in airport management (Gustavsson 2008).
The goal/objectives of this research study is to discover the causes of noise pollution, establish the level of noise that can be accommodated by the human ear and the surrounding buildings and lands factors and provide an evaluation/analysis of the findings. Recommendations should also be established through the ideas analyzed and feedbacks from the surrounding community and professional experts (Pei 2007).
The design convenient for this research study should be both qualitative and quantitative in nature. Both primary are secondary sources will be vital for the successful discovery of the key issues that are related to noise control in airports (Pei 2007). Environmental noise regulation acts will be used in developing action plans about noise management department at the airport. The resources to be used are the nearby communities and effects experienced from noise pollution. The level of airport management will be established and used to determine the level of noise control in airports (Gustavsson 2008).
