Soveirgn Health Group is a treatment facility for drug and alcohol addiction for teens. “The center is equipped to help all kinds of teens ages 12-17 who have an addiction” . It is an in-house facility where individuals can come and stay to overcome their addictions. The center is secluded with beautiful scenery and has round the clock doctors, nurses, and counselors to assist with each patient’s needs. Each room is private and mimics a bed and breakfast resort for clients who are treated as people and not a number. The group also deals with mental health issues while assisting with the addiction problems the teens are facing.
An individual who has an addiction and meets the age requirements will not be turned away from this treatment resort. It has a proven rate of success among previous patients and has been the best-qualified staff to work with each patient individually. Each treatment plan and goal are different to meet the one on one needs of the teens who stay there. Some treatment programs are for a month and some last longer depending on the severity of the person’s addiction.
The addicts are kept confidential while they are in the program and follow services are mandated after release to ensure the road to recovery is continued for as long as the patient needs it. This facility has one goal in mind and that is to treat each induvial with the best plan that will work for their problems. Not everyone has the same addiction or symptoms and therefore, each teen is treated individually to match their situation.
The group has thorough assessments which are followed up with individual care for each teen and is similar to a mentor throughout the program. The teens are not left alone to battle their problems and have a unique support group and coach who is there for them before, during, and after the process. The teens have numerous resources to help them with any issues that may arise during treatment and can reach out for support at any time of day. The main goal is to lead the teens down the road of recovery and keep on a positive track for success in the future.
The group is designed to help any adolescent or teenager who is in the age range of 12-17. “The clients are housed and offered many resources and programs to assist with treatment for a variety of addictions” . The trained staff includes behavior and mental health counseling to assist with other issues the teens may be experiencing. It is not uncommon for other underlying issues to be present that had been a factor in the drug and alcohol addictions. These teens need to be treated for the cause of their addiction to ensure they do not fall back into addiction once they leave the facility.
The facility offers family and group therapy if it fits the teens needs for their problems and addictions. It depends on each induvial case whether this occurs or if the treatment is centered around patients individually. The teens will have mentors to guide them through each day of their treatment. The recovery process can have positive and negative days and the teens are equipped with the qualified staff to help through each type of day they have while battling addiction recovery.
The teens will have a professional step by step plan that is critiqued to their addictions, treatments, behavioral, and mental needs. These teens are able to voice their opinion throughout their treatment goals to ensure they are getting the right help that accommodates to their own goals. It is a place that teens can have a long term plan for the future and the staff will follow up with other doctors to ensure they are staying sober once released. The families are involved in the recovery process and they will be informed of changes in plans and progress of the patient while at the location. If a teen has more than one addiction, then those will be met and treated fully with the plan set in place to ensure adequate recovery services. The process has had an impressive rate of achievement and success for those who have been involved in the treatment. The teens needs are the first priority when housed in the center and safety is always as a necessity among the facility.
The center had professional licensed staff that specialize in the treatment of the teenagers. The trained staff has experience in every aspect of the programs offered and are knowledgeable in what works to keep a positive recovery. The specialized team of professionals is educated in substance abuse and psychology to give the teens the important sources that are needed for their addiction issues. The team that works at the center are licensed doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, therapists, counselors who all specialize in the addiction and mental aspect of each issue that is treated.
The teen treatment facility has been federally funded by grants and budgets that have helped improve the group. It has given more advanced treatment and resources with the funding that has been offered to them by the federal government. “The Obama Administration has utilized the funding for the group and other treatment facilities similar to this one” . The funding has been used to advance the treatment center and helped offer advanced recovery for more teens.
The rehab center accepts insurance for payment options as well as state funded insurance. Payment plans can be set up for families who do not have insurance. People who cannot afford to pay for the treatment may have a payment plan set up based on income. Some cases can be minimal or free treatment depending on the income and situation of each family. Churches have been known to assist with payment and some churches will pay for the full treatment for addiction recovery. There are many options to choose from for payment and money will not need to be a concern when worrying about addiction recovery. The center receives grants and other resources to fund the services offered.
The success rate of Sovereign Health Group has mixed reviews on the web. The website has videos and testimonials from patients’ families who have praised the facility on their addiction recovery assistance. There is feedback that has given enormous effectiveness after the program was over and the patients were back home. It appears from other reviews about the treatment group, that there are mixed assumptions on effectiveness. This may be true for all drug treatment facilities.
Sovereign Health Group has listed that there are approximately 40 patients seen at their facility and offers care after release. There are mixed reviews regarding the follow-up care for patients who have gone through the program for addiction. Some of the reviews discuss the limited aftercare that was offered and that the resource tools were limited to their needs once released. Other families have had success with the aftercare tools and resources and have nothing but positive remarks about the group.
There was a former patient who had expressed his achievement of becoming sober with the program. “He was concerned that even with having the tools to stay sober, he was afraid he would not be able to keep that goal” . From the material that was expressed about the effectiveness of treatment, it appears to me a mixed review. Each patient is different and it depends on the individual whether they maintain sobriety after finishing the treatment process. Effectiveness regarding treatment while in the facility appears to be very high. After the program is over, the effectiveness of staying sober depends on the patient. If the tools are given and resources offered there is a good chance to stay away from addiction. The choice is of the individual and the effectiveness of treatment offered. There is no addiction treatment program that has a 100% effective rate. This facility has about the same amount of success stories as other treatment facilities for these types of addiction.
