1.What phrase/verse/thought stood out the most to you? Explain
The idea presented at the very beginning of the speech with the example of the personal experience of the speaker was the most captivating and influential an aspect of the speech. The speaker told the audience about decade old communication with his grandson in which his grandson presented an elaborated theory and practice based opinion against his question about the purpose of the glass cage placed in the vicinity. After patiently listening to his response the speaker told his opinion about the thing in a simple statement that "It's a bullet proof glass". The speaker exemplified the trait of simple apprehensions being conceived in a complex mode by the mass. The part of verse which I found attributing to the scenario from a religious point of view is the verse that states, "People are lovers of pleasure rather than love of God having a form of godliness but denying its power.. As if haveing nothing to do with it".
2. How did this message connect with some aspect of your life, study, reflection, prayer, recent experiences or circumstances?
The same prophecy is also applicable in every aspect of life, in general. For example, I can figure the same element in my life in reference to the embracement of my religious values. I was very much confused with the adaptation of religious conduct in my daily life. In fact, the concept of sin and punishment was all that I conceived from my elders that drag me further await from the religion. In this reference, the
Assurance of the speaker that we are all doing right in our radius was encouraging and grasping rather than alienating from the religion.
3.Did you find your heard drawn to the message or was your heart resisting it? What was going on in you as you listened? Explain.
Precisely, the message was very much captivating not only in its essence but also with reference to the propositions to be adopted in our lives. The central point of the preaching was to spend our life morally rather than indulging in the aspects and attributes of religion and the end of world that is a complex phenomena for a common person.
4.Take 10mins and talk with God about this message and your heart. Tell us what
might God be inviting you into today? e.g. an expression of thankfulness, some act of neighbor love, to seek further healing, counseling, or understanding in a particular area, to pursue reconciliation with someone, to meditate further on an thought/verse, etc?
I was so much under the impression of the speech that by the time I wandered with the thought of corresponding with God. I was almost in a sacred state of self realization with my attitude influencing my surroundings and people around me. I recalled the verse stating that, "But mark this.. There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be loved themselves, lovers of money, boastful, lovers of pleasure
rather than love of God having a form of godliness but denying its power.. As if having nothing to do with it". It's simple made me ponder over my capabilities and instincts that could bring change in my surroundings or at least in my inner soul. Thus, I decided to stay divine with at least sharing my smile with others to leave the glimpse in my surroundings of a happy and blessed day ahead.
