Many countries in the world do have the department or ministerial offices of homeland security and state affairs that deal with the management of safety issues. This department has to deal with both internal and external security in federal governments and because of this, it's a department that is faced with some threats. In the implementation of its activities in come challenges of emerging trends that do affect such departments. The US as the country has this department, and this paper seeks to identify trends that may occur in the next ten years in her Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Response Discipline and the new management challenges in the US in homeland security and emergency.
The coming years ten years ahead, some changes are likely to occur in the Homeland Security and Emergency Response Unit in the US. Basically, from an in-depth analysis of homeland security and management response, the possible issues that are to emerge are the preparedness in grant funding and immigration. These two questions are likely to take place in that the US federal government has to deal with them simultaneously. The grant funding has to be put in place to ensure that the US is well prepared for dealing with emergencies in this department. The funds will have to be used in the operational and awareness campaigns. Secondly, immigration is likely to be the emerging issues in this ministry in the US in that the state may be coupled with in movement of individuals from other countries moving into the US in belief of finding a safe environment there. The US government has to be prepared for this as it’s likely to affect it in the long run with the continued in-fighting of its neighbors (Herron, 2006).
The setting up of the Homeland Security and Emergency Response department in the U.S is coupled with some challenges. In the U.Sthe management challenges that are to be experienced in this department include but not limited to counter-terrorism and security management, border security issues and trade with its neighbors (Green, 2016).
Writing a good research report is a combination of several factors. This is because the individual was writing the story either if he/she is doing it for the first time or is a professional may feel that he/ she doesn't possess the knowledge of research writing adequately as required. Therefore, the two most important elements that should be considered in drafting a good report are doing a skeleton of what is expected in the research work and doing a thorough analysis of the topic to be researched on.
The two elements mentioned above are essential research success in that, firstly by doing the in-depth analysis on the subject issue, the writer will have a better understanding of what is expected of him /her or in the long run. This will also make the researcher have a mastery of the subject of discussion, in by so doing the writer will be able to know the topics to be discussed and among the topics wish ones have more weight and thus require a lot of emphases (Herron, 2006). Notably, another significant factor in drafting a good report is by coming up with a skeleton of what is to be expected. This will include making a memoir of the craft, and this will guide the individual through the step by step process of what is required in research writing ("ACADEMIC PAPERBACKS," 1964).
In my project where I will be completing my Capstone Research and Project in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, I intend to focus on the elements above to ensure I come up with a good eye-catching final work. I will make an in-depth analysis of the topic which is "Homeland Security and Emergency Management'. Identity the possible sub –subjects on the theme and do a thorough analysis of them. This will give a real mastery of the topic of discussion and aid me in gathering the relevant materials on the subject line as well. I will then come up with a memoir of what is expected; I will come up with the required parts of a research work, the necessary steps and the mini topics of discussion.
