Discussion 1
Experience 1
I think the teaching assistance plays a significant role in the professional development of the graduate students. This practice is not only meant to help the student learn nature of their field but also an opportunity to familiarize themselves with expectations, roles, obligations, and code of ethics associated with teaching professionalism. Therefore, Similar to Barge (2013), I support that effective training should be administered to help the assistant teachers review and understand their professional policies.
Experience 2
According to the "Happiness Weekly" (2013), respecting your colleagues is a vital aspect of the work environment, and this means respecting their belongings, personal space, philosophies, privacy, perspectives beliefs, and personality. Therefore, it is important to avoid discussing other colleagues as a way of respecting them.
Discussion 2
Apart from talking to the supervisors to clarify professional issues, I think there should be a platform that empowers employees to identify and solve ethics violations. In addition to the second experience, I believe that employees do not only need to learn from their colleagues or bosses to be ethical but also learn from other materials and coping strategies such as Professional integrity and team communication (Lin 2007).
Discussion 3
The "dos" and "don'ts" addressed in this discussion reflects what professionals are expected to not only in the health professionalism but also in other professionalism. However, the "dos" and "don'ts" addressed here are the highlight of many required in the professional environments.
Discussion 4
Although the discussion has highlighted the basic "dos" and "don'ts" in the health professionalism, it fails to cover some of the important aspects. Such aspects include maintaining personal hygiene, listening before speaking, following client confidentiality guidelines, and avoiding racist and sexist remarks (Ki Health, Inc. 2003).
Discussion 5
The discussion provides an important approach that workers should follow to help their colleague solve an issue in the workplace. According to the expert, the best approach to solving the colleague's problem is by speaking to the college directly before reporting to the supervisor or manager (Gallo, 2009). Many people rush to report negative colleague's behaviors to their senior without considering that talking to them first is the best way to build a relationship with people the work environment.
