Nonprofit Disasters: Their Impacts on Victims
The purpose of this research project is to identify impacts that result from the occurrence of a disaster. In order to achieve our ensured purpose, various methods are used to facilitate the same. They include, taking samples of a representative population. In order to achieve the desired purpose of the research, the most pliable factors that should be put in place include, asking ourselves questions such as, what are the examples of disasters in this context, when nonprofit disaster organizations occur, what is the distinguishing factor between a profit disaster and a nonprofit disaster. In order to suffice this project, it is in the best of interests of our desired goals that we try to get answers to the above questions. In the event, amicable answers are devised; the purpose of the study of the effects of disaster to nonprofits organizations, government and on victims of disasters will be achievable.
In my efforts to describe this research problem, any approach can take up grounds relevant in this regard. For instance, this research problem can be defined from an ethical angle. Objectives and the purpose of this research can be defined in such a way that it appreciates the moral codes of the society. In effect, a solution will be realized. Morality and codes of conduct can be placed in the context of this research. Comparisons and references made to disaster nonprofits, governments and victims of the same circumstances can be of relevance in discussing this research problem. Similarly, the definition of this research problem can take the economic angle. In this case, the funding that is purposed to deal with disasters is brought to light. In this case, the definition to the research problem would entail, looking at the economical protection that was desired to take charge of the affairs of people Vis a Vis problems faced by those who fall victims to the disaster
My research problem can also be defined from a political angle. Individuals in a political set up can give us a record of information as it partakes disasters. Politics plays a major role in ensuring that affairs of people are protected. If disasters occur, what actions do our political guardians take? The justification for this is assumed by this definition major on the fact that disasters and victims of the same are under the protection of the state. The government also stands to lose in the event that a disaster occurs. It is in response to the expenses likely to be incurred in case of an accident.
In a nutshell, my research problem can be tackled by employing various data collection methods such as sampling. Samples can be taken in a way that best suits the interests of the research. The best method is to use focus groups.
