Parties! The right place to observe the most vigorous and the most evident expression of people’s emotions, desires and behavior. To start with cloths, because we are greeted according to our clothes. All my acquaintances can be divided into 2 categories – “I don’t care what to put on” and “I don’t care what to put on but I’ll be great!” And the second category makes the party be something special, prepared and indisputably more important than it could be.
When we see a newcomer we look at the dress, hair and shoes not forgetting to notice pros and cons, and before the person starts talking to us we have already disposed some labels there. It can include social status, character traits and even way of living and their intelligence but to make sure how to talk to the person and what to expect, we become a Participant Observer. There are people in the corners – meek creatures – shy people that are not expected to play a leading role. On the other hand we cannot overlook eccentric people used to focus everyone’s attention on them. And not forget about people who know the sponsors of the party if they do not do it by themselves! People that really know the purpose of meeting.
That could be a real jungle if we were not accustomed to visit such places with friends or people that we already know, and for some reasons it saves us from being misunderstood and that takes leave according to what we know and how we behave.
So behavior makes our faces and gives us a certain role which is more stable that a piece of rag or make-up.
