Assignment 5: Employee Compensation and Benefits
We are going to design a compensation and benefits package for an AAA Corporation. AAA Corporation has more than 5,000 employees and the company’s headquarters are located in Wheaton, Illinois. The company operates in the financial services sector. Due to the growing workload, the board of directors of the AAA Corporation decided that it is time to hire new employees.
Firstly, the board of directors has given us a task to hire a new secretary for the department, which is a new full-time position. Also, it is necessary to develop an employee compensation and benefits package for the secretary position.
It is of a great importance to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages for the company’s employees as at AAA Corporation people are the key to the company’s success.
A competitive compensation and benefits package should include monetary and non-monetary rewards for the employees. Thus, we must develop a package that will be competitive on the labor market.
