Introduction: Evaluating a Training Program
The relevance of diversity programs is very crucial when it comes to issues concerning business. They must be taken into consideration when focus is put on cost saving moves that are aimed at lowering the costs of operation within a company or any business entity. The movements that are taken to ensure that there is maximum minimization of the available limited resources may include creating shared model services and off shoring. In order to achieve this effectively, most business enterprises emphasize on the most relevant resources in terms of the basic needs required in order to the run the company effectively. Diversity plays a crucial role in shaping the entity and ensuring its future is well planned for. The context in this article looks at the concept of diversity by harnessing the collective power of people involved in the growth and development of an entity by presenting and evaluating an effective training program.
There is the hunger for high returns on invest in any model that is setup in order to generate income. Any form of investment that is set up has to organize their self in order to be able to serve clients to the best of their ability. Our evaluation program is designed to address the importance of diversity and its relative importance in the realization of a successful entity. It has a major role to play when it comes to outcome of the work input initiated by a business entity.
Cognitive Behavior
Cognitive behavior relates to how the various stakeholders of an organization respond to the diversification that has been made within the organization. The employees must be trained on how to deal with the change made, such that they can inspire confidence in the organization from other reluctant parties like creditors.
The concept of diversity plays a major role when it comes to decision making at work place or business setting. Many people would do things in an ordinary way of letting decisions be made at a personal level where bosses make choices that they think may help their business. Decisions make on the basis of diversity have realized great results as compared to those that are made on individual grounds. There are more talents in diversifying the type of decision made in order to save a company or business. On the other hand, seeking different opinions when together and coming up with a final decision as a group is effective in minimizing the type of risk that may occur. Diversity represents a competitive advantage that can help win business and close deals.
Our organization increasingly receives questions from clients about diversity efforts and this training will be designed as a resource for our internal employees. Typically, clients request information about the diversity of staff and the scope of programs that are available for the services and programs offered. There is a factor of clients wanting to see the concept of diversity being incorporated in all the aspects of the programs that are at their disposal. Within the organization of our choice, we all need to work together to come up with strategies to improve our diversity skills and encourage all the staff to appreciate the need for diversity among us.
Teams that are diverse in their operation and incorporate diversity in their daily functions are always seen to be creative and innovation on a daily basis. They come up with something new and relevant to their client that captivate and maintains them within their organization (Butler, Oldham and Verderese, 2009, p.3). The situation of innovation is realised due to a variety of backgrounds form each member offering a good platform for reasoning and solving situations.
The initiative and goals of diversity are aimed at providing a standard platform to all employees within an organization to produce good results due to their different abilities and background stands (Ezell, 2014, p. 4).
Initiatives of best organizational results:
As we look at the different perspectives of diversity, there is an additional need to consider the people or community who are less considered in these organizations. These may include the gay and lesbian community. They have a crucial role to play and should be treated with respect and dignity so long as they observe the normal norms of operations and do not tamper with any other person’s rights. In the United States, the population is estimated to be fifteen million translating to six percent of the total population.
There is a national plan that has been installed to ensure that there is an effective competition for clients and the working staff of our organization.
The program has been created in a way to ensure that it meets all the requirements of the changing diversity across the world.
Overall Impact of Diversity on Returns on Investment:
Diversity centers on the extension of already existing services and products that are offered by an organization. It involves capital resources into a project or an initiative in which the organization expects to receive returns. The initiatives undertaken must be viable such that the organization can recover the amounts invested in the projects and if possible, make a profit from the investment (Diversity University, 2013, p. 4).
The clients are met in a unique way that gives room for different abilities and cultural diversities to be appreciated. Different ways of doing things with a common and centered organization allows innovation of new programs and ideas that are captivating to both the public and the clients as well.
