I chose this question because, despite critical thinking being encouraged in most instances, the issue of ethics should be given consideration. While analyzing an idea critically, it is important to consider if the thought is ethically acceptable.

Paul, Richard. "Ethics Without Indoctrination." The Critical Thinking Community (2010): 1-3.
http://www.criticalthinking.org/pages/ethics-without-indoctrination/494
In this journal article done by Richard Paul, the main idea is incorporating critical thinking in educational systems in an ethical manner. This work was first published in 1988 originally by Educational Leadership. Richard has been a lecturer in re-known universities and has written more articles on critical thinking as well. This is not his first publication but there are more of his works that can be found in educational portals of libraries. Instead of supporting the original perceptions based ethics without indoctrination, Richard’s main intention is to give his own opinion in the teaching of ethics. This is evidenced by the taxonomy of moral reasoning that he illustrates in the article by giving practical examples that relate to real life situations. Therefore, the information provided is objective in nature and impartial. This is because; Richard gives more insights into teaching of ethics by giving practical examples and the appropriate strategies that can be used. He not only does this but he is also open to suggestions (Survey of Library Database Licensing Practices 32).
The sources given by the author are credible and are adequately indicated. This is based on the fact that the sources have given their publication numbers and the publishers. Although the sources are credible in nature, they are a little bit outdated since one of the sources comes from the year 1988, which is more than ten years ago. This makes the sources outdated but since they are credible in nature, they can be readily used. The publisher for this article is ‘The Critical Thinking Community’ which is linked to so many other articles that are related to critical thinking.

This piece of work has been written by Clay Martin and published by Carolina Academic press which is more of an academic magazine publish station based in Carolina. One of the credentials that the Clay has in this work is based on the notion that, the publications has a number, ISBN: 978-1-59460-503-1 • LCCN 2008011854. Clay is a credible author since he has always written electronic materials for teachers which can be accessed in educational sites (Mann 27).
The information that Clay provides is impartial and relates with the main objective from the topic. He achieves this through asking questions that leads to curiosity and further research by giving practical examples like treating each other and our arguments. Thus, Clay uses the art of asking questions that lead to critical thinking that relate to his interpretations of critical thinking and ethics. The author therefore brings out an individual’s opinion other than supported evidence from other works published. Unlike most works indicating their supportive sources, Clay gives his own ideas but only refers to one different author. The only source given in this article is credible based the idea that it was published less than ten years ago (Mann 27). More so, the author is a lecturer in a renowned university and holds the position of a professor. The publisher for this work is Carolina Academic Press which has published most of academic magazine based topics.
