In the context of the persuasive speech, it would be correct to opine that it came across to be extremely proficient in the domain of giving persuasive speech. It has to be mentioned in this context that my speech does really well in making the topic relate to the self. Thus, my credibility as the speaker gets enhanced a lot- something that helps the audience of the speech get involved in the matter. During my speech, it becomes more engaging and effective under such a circumstance. Another good quality of my speech was that it has very smooth transitions. This helps the audience relate to my speech in a better way, and it increases the clarity and logical appeal of the work in context. Apart from this, I was a clear with the central idea that elevates the content of the persuasive speech. Thus, my speech works very effectively to reach out to the audience.
However, I had some weaknesses as well. The space could have been used by me in a better way in the course of the persuasive speech. In spite of the fact that I delivered the speech to an online class, it should have been like delivering in front of the class physically. I did not do that. As such, it would have been a better option for me to record oneself further from the camera so that the gestures could be noticed. Moreover, another weakness of my speech was the lack of preview of the main points. In future, if the preview of the main points is presented by me at the inception of the speech, it would be easier for the audience to comprehend the points of my speech with clarity. Apart from this, the conclusion that I have did not review the main points properly. In future works, I should give a clear review of all the main points expressed in the speech.
